What area do you cover?

I really love a particular flower, but it's not seasonal at the time we are getting married, can you still help?

We are located in Egton, six miles out of Whitby and cover the North Yorkshire area. Some of our favourite wedding venues include Danby Castle, Egton Manor, Middleton Lodge, Sneaton Castle, Larpool Mill, Yorkshire Wedding Barn, Raven Hall Hotel and Thirsk Lodge Barns.

We only work with seasonal produce that we grow ourselves. If we didn't do this, we would need to work with imported flowers - which doesn't align with our efforts to run a sustainable and environmentally responsible business.

We are passionate about this and take great pride in the floral produce that we grow seasonally on our own land. We'll always be very honest if we don't feel we are the right floral designer for you. If you're concerned or would like more guidance on seasonality, this article over on our sister site, Love My Dress is a really helpful read.

Do you work seasonally or all-year round?

We can supply and style flowers for a limited number of weddings in the following months; April, May, June, August, September, October and December. Please note that we are no longer taking on weddings in the month of July.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Can you recommend other suppliers?

We don't have a set minimum spend - because we also love to supply our beautiful flowers for teeny, tiny, intimate weddings. Each quotation is bespoke and unique to your requirements.

We can indeed! We know many incredibly talented photographers, videographers, dress designers, bridal boutiques, hair and makeup artists and more. We are also founders of the popular wedding blog, Love My Dress - you'll find lots of inspiration over there and you can also explore the Love My Dress Wedding Directory.

What are your payment terms?

We require a 50% payment on booking our services - with the remaining 50% due four weeks prior to your wedding. We require this size of deposit because we grow all our own produce. We do understand that sometimes our clients might need a little extra and time to settle their first payment - please ask if you need us to consider flexing our payment terms.

Are you insured?

Yes we are fully insured on a Public Liability basis and can provide a copy of our insurance certificate if needs be. Some wedding venues insist that evidence of insurance cover is provided prior to couples booking any of their suppliers/vendors.

How soon should we book our wedding flowers?

We advise as soon as possible. We have couples booking two+ years in advance currently. Please note that even after you have enquired, we cannot secure a date unless a deposit has been made. We invoice for a deposit after a quotation has been provided and agreed by both parties.

Can we visit your flower farm?

We're not currently taking visitors to our flower farm as this is also our busy and private family home. However, we are very happy for you to pop in for a chat once you have booked our services. We'd be delighted to see you and share tea/coffee (and if you're lucky, some homemade cake) with our clients.

Do you provide a consultation?

After receiving your enquiry, we'll usually reach out via email and WhatsApp and arrange a complimentary consultation, where we can chat about your requirements and provide some initial advice and guidance. After this, we'll provide a quotation for your consideration.
